Etchings

Alfred Gockel's high-quality etchings reflect the craftmanship of his inspirators: Picasso, Mirò, Chagall, Dali and Dürer. The technique is traditional, often with use of aqua-tinta and sugar lift. His signature expresses a contemporary ambiance and the narrative part of his etchings is represented with a serie of 8 Greek Mythology etchings, in which human shortages, desires and psychologic emotions figure as once written down by Homer.
